Where can I get pricing information for bridal makeup & hair services?

Do you offer on- location services for special events or just weddings?
Special event services are carried out at my location (LE16 8YD).  If you require me to travel to you, an extra travel charge will be incurred. 

What type of makeup do you use?
I carry a mix of high street, pro and luxury brands.  Each of my makeup products is chosen for it's performance rather that it's price.  

Do you offer discounts?
I do not offer any discounts.

Do you offer group discounts?
No. I do not offer any discounts on groups.

What is your cancellation policy for makeup trials?
For trial appointments I ask that you give 48-hour advance cancellation notice via email or phone.  

What kind of waxing services do you offer?
I offer facial waxing for brows, lip, and chin.

Are you able to do a variety of skin tones?
Absolutely! I carry an inclusive kit that covers all skin tones. 

Are you able to cover blemishes/ skin issues?
The simple answer is yes. However, blemishes are often raised skin, and raised skin texture can still be noticeable even with coverage. I can take out the redness and discoloration, but I can’t really “flatten” or change the texture of the skin.

What products should I avoid if I am getting waxed?
Avoid using any products containing AHA’s, beta hydroxy, or benzoyl peroxides for seven days before waxing. 
You should NEVER get waxed the day before your wedding. I recommend tweezing the eyebrows instead.

What if I just want you to service my bridesmaids. Do I still have to pay the higher bridal rate?
I prefer to be the only makeup artist present on the day of the wedding.  If a 2nd artist is required, I am happy to arrange this for you.  

Do you charge a travel fee?
For wedding makeup services, the travel is included in the cost of the bride (up to an hour each way).  If you require me to travel to you for a special event makeup, the travel cost is an additional price of 50p per mile

What do you charge for destination weddings?
Each wedding is different. I will be happy to give you a custom quote once I know all your details. 

Do you have a minimum for on- location services?
During the peak summer months (May to September) there is a minimum booking fee of Bride plus 2 on the weekends.  For the rest of the week/year, I am happy to accommodate smaller wedding parties. 

What if I can't meet the minimum? Do you offer just hair and makeup for the bride?
I do offer a bridal package for brides only.  However, it still requires a
minimum monetary amount for me to travel on-location.
If you can’t find guests to fill the "bridesmaid" spots, consider asking a special guest, as I'm sure they'd love to get their makeup done too. 

How soon do I need to book my wedding makeup and hair?
I can’t hold a date without a contract and deposit. The sooner you know your date, the better.

Do you offer makeup for engagement pictures?
Yes, absolutely! Please Note: Saturday appointments are usually not available during the high season (June-November) due to my on-location wedding services. Let me know and I will do my best to work with your schedule.
 
Where do the makeup trials & in studio appointments take place?
All makeup trials take place at my location (LE16 8YD).  Full address details are sent out prior to your appointment.

What days can I schedule a makeup trial?
Trials are available Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm.

What if I am unable to make my scheduled trial appointment? Can we reschedule? 
I am always happy to re-schedule your trial makeup appointment, providing I can accommodate you before the wedding.  Please give as much notice as possible. 

Are trials included in the makeup price for the bride?
No. The makeup trial is invoiced separately four weeks before your appointment. 

How Long Do Makeup Trials Take?
Makeup trials are typically 2 hours long for the bride, and 1 hour for all other members of the bridal party. 

How many looks do I get in a trial?
A trial usually consists of trying one desired look or style and a variation of that look.
If a completely different style/look is desired beyond that, I suggest booking another preview.

When do you recommend getting a trial done?
Your makeup trial is usually carried out around 3 months before your wedding date.  If you're travelling into the area for your wedding, please mention this at the time of booking and we can book the trial to fit in with your plans.  

Can I do a makeup trial before booking?
Absolutely! If you prefer to do a makeup  trial before booking, I suggest coming in asap, as I do not hold dates without a signed contract and deposit. 

What should I bring to my trial?
I suggest you bring a picture of your dress, hair and makeup inspiration to your trial. You can also bring any signature products that you can't live without, and possibly your wedding day jewellery to see the full effect! 

Can I bring a friend to my trial?
Of course! I'm happy for your to share your makeup trial experience with your nearest and dearest, but my studio is only small so I can only fit another 1 or 2 people in. 

What do I do if I need to change any details (location, time, number of people) for my wedding?
Please let me know asap if you need to make any changes prior to the wedding day.
Any changes made within 30 days of the wedding date are not eligible for any refunds.

Are lashes included in my services?
Yes.  Lashes are included in every service, excluding Flower Girl and Junior Bridesmaid.

How much is my wedding makeup deposit/retainer?
50% of the total contracted wedding day services. The balance is due four weeks before your wedding day.

Is my deposit/retainer refundable?
No. Your deposit/retainer is non-refundable in the event you decide to cancel.

What type of payment methods do you accept?
I currently accept payments by bank transfer.  My bank details are listed on your invoice.

At what point do you need an assistant?
I will send out an itinerary at first points of enquiry.  If it looks like I won't be able to have the whole bridal party ready on time (e.g. a large bridal party with an early start) I'm happy to secure a 2nd makeup artist for you at no additional cost. 

What if I pay for someone on my contract and they back out of services for my wedding day?
If someone backs out of services that you have already paid a deposit on, if you are more than 30 days from the wedding day, I will take the portion of their services out of the balance due. If they back out within 30 days of your wedding day, I'm unable to refund the service.  In this instance, I would suggest asking someone else if they would like to take their spot. 

What if I don’t want lashes is the price different?
Lashes are included in the price for the bride. If you prefer not to wear lashes,
the price is the same.

Are you going to stay until after the ceremony in case I cry?
Your time will be noted in your wedding itinerary. If you would like me to stay until after the ceremony, I can add that service at an additional fee.
